Hooray for summer, a welcome respite for most from the usual hustle of school, exams, and endless obligations. Taking a well-deserved break is important, but so is preparing for the next wave of challenges. Athletes recognize how training during the off-season impacts performance on game day. With the new August SAT paired with the September ACT, your big day could arrive sooner than you’d think. Will you be test ready?
Anyone who lives in Rochester should know by now that Chariot Learning runs full-length proctored practice tests across Monroe County and beyond just about every single week. How busy were we this spring?
- We proctored 14 different practice SATs and ACTs at 8 different locations, including one awesome high school. Kudos to our library partners in Pittsford, Brighton, Fairport, Gates, Penfield, and Henrietta for making these tests available to so many teens!
- How many students came to these tests? Would you believe 133 different students from 22 different schools, including homeschooled students? Talk about commitment! We’re especially proud of the students who sat for two or more tests this spring.
- How many tests did we administer? Teens of our proctored practice tests took a total of 172 practice SATs and ACTs. And this doesn’t even count the many motivated students in our classes and tutoring programs who took timed tests on their own. So impressive!
We can’t stress enough how much high quality practice tests matter for anyone preparing for standardized exams. The earlier in the year you earn your best test scores, the sooner you can put these tests behind you. We’re always adding new tests to our calendar, so the best way to stay informed is to subscribe to our free parent newsletter or follow us on Facebook. Ready to get started?
