Local temps may still be soaring, but once students return to school, we bid a fond farewell to summer. The official start of standardized test season begins this weekend with the first ACT of the academic year. Then comes SATs, ACTs, and even the October PSAT. Will you be test ready?
Even though class is finally in session, many motivated teens have been working through summer vacation to lock in their best scores for fall Chariot Learning has been running full-length proctored practice tests across Monroe County and beyond just about every single week. How busy were we this summer?
- We proctored 15 different practice SATs and ACTs at 7 different locations, including our first in a while at Victor HS. Kudos to our library partners in Pittsford, Brighton, Fairport, Gates, Penfield, and Irondequoit for making these tests available to so many teens!
- How many students came to these tests? Would you believe 138 different students from 26 different schools, including homeschooled students? Looks like teens are coming from far and wide to take advantage of quality practice tests! We’re especially proud of the students who sat for three or more tests this summer.
- How many tests did we administer? Teens of our proctored practice tests took a total of 192 practice SATs and ACTs. And this doesn’t even count the many motivated students in our classes and tutoring programs who took timed tests on their own. So impressive!
We can’t stress enough how much high quality practice tests matter for anyone preparing for standardized exams. The earlier in the year you earn your best test scores, the sooner you can put these tests behind you. Ready to get started?
