Winter weather might not be ready to let go just yet, but spring, at least according to the calendar, has arrived! High school juniors have a lot of tests to contend with before summertime rolls, including finals, APs, and those all-important ACTs and SATs. Will you be test ready? Many students, we’re happy to report, have already locked in the scores they’ll be sending to their dream schools. Chariot Learning has been running full-length proctored practice tests across Monroe County and beyond just about every single week. How busy were we this winter? We proctored 15 different practice SATs and ACTs at 10 different locations, including two schools. Kudos to our library partners in Pittsford, Brighton, Fairport, Gates, Henrietta, Irondequoit, Penfield, and Spencerport for making these tests available to so many teens! A new year offers a new opportunity to raise your standardized testing game. Resolve to test your best in 2017! We have an SAT coming up in January, but the real targets for juniors just getting started will be the March SAT and April ACT. Will you be test ready? Local temps may still be soaring, but once students return to school, we bid a fond farewell to summer. The official start of standardized test season begins this weekend with the first ACT of the academic year. Then comes SATs, ACTs, and even the October PSAT. Will you be test ready? Looking ahead to early September, summer includes exactly one high stakes college admissions exam. But athletes know well the impact the work you do in the off-season has on performance on game day. We’re not big fans of this year’s March SAT date, but on the other hand, we love the April ACT. Will you be test ready?
