We all know what traditional college fairs are like: huge venues hosting tons of colleges, universities and military services where students and families can gather information, brochures, and lots of first impressions. But is that all there is to the admissions process? And, what about paying for it and succeeding once a student decides where to go?

Obviously, determining where you want to go is important. Equally essential is learning how to get in and then how to thrive!

We’re thrilled to announce the first Greater Ithaca Getting-Into-And-Succeeding-In College Fair. How is this free event different from a conventional college fair? Instead of campus reps, you’ll meet amazing local experts with answers about every aspect of the college admissions, financing, and transition processes.

The experts at this fair will offer guidance and insights for high school students of all ages along with parents and educators. Look forward to presentations on key college topics. Here is what you can expect at the Tompkins County Public Library on Saturday, May 11, 2024:

Testimonials

It was great learning his secret tricks on how to score better – and the not so secret trick of practice, practice, practice! He improved our scores by 3-4 points, and we were very satisfied and happy with the final result.
