All About ACT Science

September 15, 2020 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

$50

For many, the Science section of the ACT is frightening because students think they need to be experts in different science disciplines. This master class will demonstrate the necessary skills needed to do well on the ACT Science section.

Students will learn how to apply the same cognitive skills they use for the Reading section to master quantitative information. Students will review basic knowledge needed to understand ANY type of science passage, including experimental design, identifying patterns in tables and graphs, and interpreting data. We will discuss fundamental content from specific disciplines such as biology, chemistry, physics, and earth and space sciences. Finally, we will attack Science passages and see how successful completion of these passages is like playing Where’s Waldo!

This two-hour Master Class is ideal for any student seeking a high Science score on the ACT who has already begun the process of preparing for the exam.

Advance registration is required. Register through our Student Information Form and specify the ACT Science Master Class. We will reply to registrants by email with the invitation to this Zoom seminar.
