Have you gotten used to distance learning yet? After this global crash course in videoconferencing and remote instruction best practices, we are feeling really good about the efficacy of our online classes, tutoring, and practice tests. We’re feeling so good, in fact, that we’re adding a bevy of beautiful new programs as part of our May Seminar Series.
Why a Seminar Series? Obviously, our SAT/ACT classes and tutoring programs provide comprehensive preparation for the tests. But some reading, grammar, and math topics can stand further review, especially in creative and focused ways. In addition, some topics may not fit in a general class but hold serious significance for certain students. Ultimately, we’ve designed the series for May 2020 to address the most important, impactful, and interesting topics for current, former, and new students alike:
May 4 – Why Do The SAT & ACT Matter: Honest Talk for Teens (Mike Bergin)
May 7 – How to Ace the New AP In-Home Tests (Dave Holtzman)
May 11 – Making the Most of Your Calculator on the SAT & ACT (Kaeti Stoss)
**May 13 – How to Ace the New AP In-Home Tests (Dave Holtzman) [6-7pm]
May 14 – “The Office” Themed SAT/ACT Vocabulary Class (Hilarie Lloyd)
May 18 – Advanced ACT Math (Jim Reinish)
May 21 – Extra Help on Archaic SAT and ACT Reading Passages (Patty Camloh)
May 25 – SAT & ACT Punctuation (Kaeti Stoss)
May 28 – Overcoming Test Anxiety (Mike Bergin)
Each seminar (except 5/13) runs from 4-5pm EST for a fee of only $25. Even better, students can attend as many as they’d like all month for just $99. Madness!
As always, advance registration is required for each seminar. Register through our Student Information Form and specify one or more seminars. We will reply to registrants by email with the invitation to this Zoom seminar.
And don’t forget that we are still running a full ACT Extended and ACT Intensive Class along with practice tests and test review sessions every week. Make this May count by working towards your best test scores!!
